Volunteer Program
To assist us with conducting various adoption, fundraising, and other charity events, we have created a volunteer program. Individuals within the community can apply to become a volunteer member. Volunteering means selflessly giving your time to the animals in foster care and the community. It also means living by the Isle of Wight County Humane Society's mission and values.

Pet Foster Parent Program
To save animals from living outside in harsh conditions or possibly being euthanized in a local shelter, we have created a foster parent program. Individuals within the community can apply to become foster parents. Being a foster parent means opening your heart and home to animals in need and living by the Isle of Wight County Humane Society's mission and values.

Donations
Every pet we assist and care for costs on average $800.00 a month. As an all-volunteer organization, we depend upon the generosity of kind individuals like you within our community to fund our work. We receive no government funding and rely entirely upon private and corporate donors. With your assistance, we can continue our mission and help keep our lifesaving programs running.
