Getting started will take a commitment on your part. There are many ways that our all-volunteer organization can utilize your help. Please check the Meetings Calendar page and plan to attend our meetings. Volunteers are asked to join and pay a fee of $10.

As an all-volunteer
organization, the IOW County Humane Society depends upon the generosity of kind
people in our community to fund our work. We receive no government funding and
rely entirely upon private and corporate donors. We have no office, no building, no salaries
and very little operating expense. All
money donated to the Humane Society goes toward the care of animals in Isle of
Wight County. If you can assist us in
providing for injured and abandoned animals, please send a contribution to:
